Road Running Events |
Chichester Priory 10 km. - 7th October 2007. In 2006 this race successfully staged the AAAs championships and this will again be the case in October 2007 On this occasion the race will also be the UKA Championships, the SEAA Championships, the Inter County Championships and an inter-area match including Wales. It will also be the selection race for some of the stages of the Ekiden Relays in Japan.The course is reasonably flat so good times can be expected. In 2006 Peter Riley of Leigh Harriers won the race in 29.02 and the women's race was won by Hayley Yelling of WSEH in a time of 32.31. Entry Form National Men's 6 stage & Women's 4 stage relays - 20th October. England Young Athletes Road Relays - 21st October. Both of these events are promoted by the English Road Running Association and are held at Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield. AAAs medals are awarded to the winning teams as well as medals for the fastest laps. Application forms will be available in August but entrance for the men's event is by qualification at the territorial relays which will be held as follows, Senior Women Under 17 Ladies Under 15 Girls Under13 Girls
